Enhle Mbali Rocks A Gorgeous Dress In Honor of Connie Chiume. It has been a week since the passing of Connie Chiume. Since her death announcement, tributes have been pouring in from colleagues, fans and the public at large.
Apart from being an iconic actress, Mam’ Connie was also a fashionista. She always stole the show with her beautiful outfits both here at home, and on international red carpets. Enhle Mbali, who is doing amazing in the fashion industry recently honored Mam’ Connie in the most beautiful ways. The award winning actress and entrepreneur attended the Basadi In Music Awards in a dress, which her team initially designed for Mama Connie.
The mermaid dress, was saved for when the icon receives a Lifetime Achievement Award. After Enhle heard of the sad news of Mama Connie’s passing, she decided to rock the awards rocking the number. As she always does with all her outfits, Enhle looked absolutely stunning and unique.
“This dress like many of my others has a story, gonna keep it short though . It was completed by the @essie_apparel team for mama @conniechiume 🕊️🕊️😢in March . We ended up going for something more simple to save this particular dress for a lifetime achievement award. Then I was to use it for something else as I was in love with this baby. After finding out about mama resting I decided to wear it to the @basadiinmusicawards_sa this past weekend as a reminder to myself of how fab mama was . And oboy did I look fab. 🙏🏾 mama’s #EmpressEnhle I will miss her stories 🥹💔 but oksalayo we looked cute,” she captioned the beautiful pictures.
