Applications Open for the Chemical Industries Education & Training Authority (CHIETA) Artisan Entrepreneurship Fund. The CHIETA Artisan Entrepreneurship Fund, with a grant allocation of R12 million, is now open for applications. This initiative aims to boost artisan skills and foster entrepreneurship within the chemical sector, supporting projects that provide essential training and financial backing to artisan start-ups. Applications are invited until 29 August 2024.

Who Can Apply?

The fund is available to a diverse range of applicants, including:

  • Chemical Sector Companies
  • Accredited Training Providers
  • Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs)

  • Government Institutions, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges, and Higher Education Institutions

Required Documentation:
