For Generations: The Legacy viewers, it is all joy as he returns to the show to play the iconic role of Jack Mabaso.
The legendary actor joined House of Zwide for its very first season in 2021. He was cast as Funani, a man running a fashion empire. Funani was also big on family, doing all in his power to protect his children. In season IV, Funani decided to leave House of Zwide he started from scratch. He left his legacy to his kids, Nkosikhona and Zobuhle. This was also Vusi’s exit from the e.tv daily drama.
Now Vusi is back to reclaim his position as the ultimate boss in Generations: The Legacy. His character of Jack Mabaso has long been a central figure in the SABC1 drama, known for his cunning, ruthlessness, and complex relationship with the show’s other characters. His apparent death in a previous season left fans wondering if they had truly seen the last of this formidable character.
