Highbury Safika Media (HSM) is seeking recent matriculants/graduates to work in its ever growing sales department. The aim of this internship opportunity is to introduce and prepare graduates for a position in sales and advertising. The Graduate Programme will cover: Sales principles, advertising strategies and techniques as well as sales management.

Requirements:

3. Self-motivated
4. Willingness to learn
5. Ability to work in a fast paced environment
6. Passion and can-do attitude
7. Reliable

Training programme:

1. Sales techniques
2. Lead sourcing
3. Pitching (crafting an effective sales pitch, sales phrases)
4. Managing/overcoming objections
5. Negotiating
6. Dealing with agencies
7. Building relationships

Key performance areas:

1. Selling advertising space
2. Source and maintain new clients
3. Inform the potential client of publication and its benefits

You will receive a stipend and for any deals generated, you will receive commission.
