Ntate Stunna Joins Mourners Paying Tribute to Malome Vector. Southern Africa slept with heavy hearts Wednesday evening after the news of Malome Vector‘s untimely passing. The award winning rapper and producer lost his life yesterday to a car accident.

According to reports, he was traveling with other 2 crew members on the N8 Free state. Vector is said to have been traveling from Gauteng, through the Free State, to Lesotho to shoot a music video when the accident happened around lunchtime.

The news of his passing was confirmed by his record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of a shining beacon; the Lion of Lesotho’s sun has set. Our deepest condolences go out to his loved ones and industry peers during this time of profound loss,” Ambitiouz Entertainment wrote.

Malome Vector, real name Bokang Moleli is from Lesotho, but rose to fame in South Africa. He earned himself a South African Music Award for Best Music Video of the Year in 2021 for a collaboration with Miss Pru and Blaq Diamond. 

The following year, he released his debut album, Karabo, which featured Blaq Diamond, Intaba Yase Dubai, Wave Rhyder, Sjava, Ubuntu Band and Ntate Stunna. Earlier in the year, Vector released his seven-track EP, 1964, which featured Ntate Stunna and Mlindo The Vocalist.

As the news of his passing trends on social media, many people are seizing the opportunity to pay tribute to him. He will of course be remembered for the hits he gave us, as well as his warm personality. Ntate Stunna, another Lesotho sensation has also penned a message regarding Vector’s passing. Taking to Facebook, he expressed sadness over Vector’s passing, regarding him as his hope. This clears the rumors going around that Sunna also died in the accident.
