Nonku Wakes Her Son Up With A Cute Birthday Surprise. It is quite admirable how the family keeps us with their birthday tradition. When one of her kids turns, Nonku Williams wakes them up in the wee hours, to present a cake, as well as sing Happy Birthday song.
Today, her last born son Phendulile is celebrating his 7th birthday. Together with her firstborn Nothile Ncwane and son Musawakhe (Wakhe), Nonku woke Phendulile up with a yummy looking cake, while singing for him. The young boy clearly enjoyed the thoughtful gesture.

A year ago, when Phendulile turned six, Nonku opened up about her fertility issues. Before she had him, she was told by doctors that her eggs are rotten. This meant that even if she conceives, she will not be able to carry full term or if she does then her child would be a special case. Six months after that Nonku discovered that she was pregnant. There was no IVF’s, or doctors, the pregnancy was just natural. The day she found out, Nonku went secretly to her room, closed the door and sobbed.
“God told me to name you Phendulile for He had answered my prayer. I’ve never seen such a super intelligent 6 year old” Nonku’s words, when she shared her touching story.
