Health And Safety Clerk Post Open At Premier
Main Objectives:
Provide effective administrative and support function to the Health and Safety & Risk Department ensuring the maintenance of the overall safety on Site.
Skills and Attributes Required:
- Industry knowledge
- Legislation (OHS Act)
- Working with people
- Computer literacy
Qualifications:
- A matric certificate
- Related qualification would be advantageous
Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience as a Health and Safety Clerk / Administrator
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with ensuring legal compliance of H&S regulations on site.
- Identifying hazards and risks on site and escalating to H&S Manager and Risk Department.
- Conduct verification of stock and stock movements on Site
- Conduct spot checks on onboard cameras on all trucks to enhance the safety and well-being of the sales crews
- Assist Risk Department with identifying any deviations from policies.
- Assist H&S Manager with Safety Audits on site.
- Assist the H&S Manager with preparation and conducting safety training and on boarding for employees.
- Participate in the Health and Safety Committee on site
- Assist the H&S Manager / Risk Manager in day-to-day administrative tasks as needed and any other adhoc tasks.
