Health And Safety Clerk Post Open At Premier

Main Objectives:

Provide effective administrative and support function to the Health and Safety & Risk Department ensuring the maintenance of the overall safety on Site. 

Skills and Attributes Required:

  • Industry knowledge
  • Legislation (OHS Act)
  • Working with people
  • Computer literacy

Qualifications:

  • A matric certificate
  • Related qualification would be advantageous

Experience:

  •  1-2 years’ experience as a Health and Safety Clerk / Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with ensuring legal compliance of H&S regulations on site.
  • Identifying hazards and risks on site and escalating to H&S Manager and Risk Department.
  • Conduct verification of stock and stock movements on Site
  • Conduct spot checks on onboard cameras on all trucks to enhance the safety and well-being of the sales crews
  • Assist Risk Department with identifying any deviations from policies.
  • Assist H&S Manager with Safety Audits on site.
  • Assist the H&S Manager with preparation and conducting safety training and on boarding for employees.
  • Participate in the Health and Safety Committee on site
  • Assist the H&S Manager / Risk Manager in day-to-day administrative tasks as needed and any other adhoc tasks.
