Check Out How SA Celebs Stepped Out for Queen Modjadji Screening. Now that Queen Modjadji has gotten the green light, all hands are on deck. There are only a few days before the premier and things are moving.

Queen Modjadji shares the journey of the Lobedu royal dynasty with the unique gift to summon rain. The role in the drama series will be played by Makoma Mohale. The twenty-seven-year-old actress and model takes on the role of Maselekwani (Queen Modjadji), the young queen-in-waiting who brings about a golden age of peace and prosperity to the land. Her younger self will be played by Ngelekanyo Ramulodi. The upcoming star plays the young Queen Modjadji, 14-year-old Maselegwani.

Wiseman Zither is also part of the stellar cast. The talented actor and model plays Mamaila, King Mugodo’s long-lost son raised by King Thulare. Other key cast members include , Mudi Mudau as Khadikhulu. She is Maselekwani’s aunt, and head teacher and adviser. There is also Putla Setlapelo who plays Ramulodi. He is the keeper of the secret and king’s keeper.

Priscilla Raboroko plays young Raisibe. Aubrey Mmakola, plays Kgoshi Mampuru, a king of the neighboring Bapedi Kingdom. Moses Raseleke plays Mphabantshi, the Royal healer, prophecy teller, and spiritual leader. Sipho Ndlovu as General Phaahla, is the cunning General of the Bapedi Kingdom. Candy TsaMaNdebele is cast as Muyahabo, one of Mambo Mugodo’s wives and stepmother to Maselekwani.

Queen Modjadji premieres on Sunday, 14th July on Mzansi Magic at 20:00PM
