After season IV wrapped up, there hasn’t been any official confirmation regarding Season 5. Despite that fans of the hit series have remained hopeful for its renewal. This is because of the introduction of new characters and the unresolved subplots in the fourth season leaving viewers eagerly anticipating more.
Blood and Water has garnered accolades since its premiered in May 2020. The series has worldwide fans, among them American actress and TV personality Gabriella Union. Blood and Water has also received prestigious awards such as Best TV Drama at the 2021 South African Film and Television Awards.
Although this is the case, there are those who feel the series should now bow out. The last episode did nit hit as much as many expected, and this led to mixed feelings about its return. Maybe the fifth season will redeem Blood and Water and it will be back to its glory days.
