Zozibini Tunzi Shows Off Her Vocal Skills In Front of An Audience. It’s no secret that Zozibini Tunzi can sing. She used to share some videos of herself belting it out. Zozi made headlines for her vocal ability in December 2020 when she shared her rendition of Beyoncé’s Runnin’.
Also, Zozi was one of the contestants on The Masked Singer SA, the celebrity identity behind the robot. The weekend she was unveiled, she serenaded the audience with Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody.
“My experience on the show was a very beautiful one, especially because there’s so much secrecy around it, and no one knows who you are – all you do is leave your heart on the stage and witness people’s reactions to your talent which is the most beautiful thing about the show,” she said.
The former Miss South Africa and Miss Universe titleholder, is at it again, and this time, with an impromptu performance. Zozi jumped on stage to sing alongside indie-folk musician Muneyi on stage while they were in Mozambique at a dinner party.
“While I was enjoying dinner at @fiftyfourmag, The Greatest Party Of All, @anantara_bazaruto in Mozambique, and being serenaded by the incredible tunes of @muneyi_ something unexpected happened. Out of the blue, he invited me on stage to join him in a song, completely unrehearsed,” Zozi shared on Instagram.
“Initially, I was a bit nervous, the thought of singing in front of everyone without any preparation was daunting. But once I got up there, it turned out to be an incredibly pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, I felt right at home. The thrill of sharing the stage with such a talented artist in that spontaneous moment was truly exhilarating. Thanks @muneyi_ it’s a memory I’ll cherish, and honestly, it made me feel like I could stay up there forever.
