Today 58 members of the MK Party have been sworn in as members of Parliament. Despite being sworn in as MPs, the MK Party says this does not mean it accepts the May election, which is the reason it has stayed away from Parliament until now.
One of the people spotted at the event is none other than Phindile. Many assume that the talented actress and brand ambassador has been sworn into parliament. Immediately she trended with social media users sharing pictures of Phindile looking all sexy. They started making fun of her, questioning how she made into parliament.
It turns out though that she was accompanying new member of parliament, Bishop Nokwethemba Mtshweni. The two are close friends, and Phindile regards Bishop Mtshweni as her spiritual mother. She attended the swearing-in event as a way to support her loved one.
Phindile’s management Kwathole Conexion, has thus released a statement to clarify the matter. They have urged the public to note the clarification, to avoid any misunderstanding that may arise.
