Levels! Sibu Mabena Graduates From Harvard. A growing number of our personalities continue to level up their academics this year. One of those is Duma Collective founder, Sibu Mabena. She has just graduated from the Harvard Business School‘s Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports programe.
Sibu’s dream came true as she attended the 10th edition of the Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports program. She is grateful for the opportunity, and thanked Harvard and Professor Anita Elberse for selecting her. Sibu also extended her gratitude to Duma Collectives and everyone who is the wind beneath her wings.
“This week has been a manifestation of a dream even my ancestors could never have had for me. What happened this week is not normal for my kind,” Sibu said in excitement.
“Thank you @harvardhbs @anitaelberse for selecting me out of what I can imagine to be thousands of applicants to attend the 10th edition of the Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports program. Thank you for being intentional about the mix of people in the room knowing that different perspectives from different parts of the world and various companies and sports and entertainment personalities would ultimately be what changes our lives.
The lifelong friendships that have been created and team jokes that will never grow old 🤣

We also love her dad’s reaction to the news, “Even if you were going to step foot as a tourist there for 1 minute, it would still be fine. Which Mabena could ever have imagined any one of us being at Harvard??”
