Today has been no exception, as Bester took on the stand, an poured his heart out to the judge. The convicted murderer and rapist says he does not feel like he is treated equally as other accused persons. Bester told the court that he is not the worst inmate in South Africa, but sadly he is the most popular because of the political issues he has in his personal capacity.

He stated that he can’t even get legal representations because they are afraid of the media and the system. He revealed that 5 lawyers have told him that they can’t represent him, and can only support him in the background. Bester also says his co-accused have nothing to do with the matter.
