Eastern Cape Department of Human Settlements Opens Human Settlements Community Engagement Opportunities
The Department calls on individuals across the province for a five (5) year fixed contract with a R20 000.00, who possess the relevant qualifications or five (5) years of experience in Human Settlements community engagement.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or recognized five year’s experience in Human Settlements Community Engagement.
- •Understanding of language used by the community wherein the individual will be working is an added advantage.
Key Performance Areas:
- Verification of incorrect Occupations.
- Verification of disaster-stricken victims.
- Identification and verification of destitute persons.
- Housing Consumer Education Support.
- Social Facilitation Support.
- Establishment of the Housing Needs Register.
- Any additional tasks assigned by the Regional Director which may include resolution of petitions and following up on challenges in hotspot areas.
