DJ Zinhle Congratulates Kairo on Her Nickelodeon Award Nomination. This is one family where creative arts talent industry reigns supreme. DJ Zinhle is a multi-award winning DJ, and reality show star, he husband is also an award winning musician. Then there is Kairo, who is also in the entertainment space, following in the footsteps of her mom Zinhle and late father, AKA.

Kairo has been showing signs that she is talented from infancy. Her pictures and videos showed personality. Noticing this AKA and Zinhle, worked hard to make her to realize her potential and share it with the world. She does music, is a kid influencer, and an overall entertainer.

A year ago, Kairo performed in front of thousands of people at the Galaxy 947 Joburg Day. The event, organized by 947 and Samsung and hosted at Crocodile Creek, was all about celebrating South Africa’s biggest artists. The likes of DJ Zinhle, DJ Maphorisa, Prince Kaybee, Mi Casa, Mafikizolo, KO and Shekhinah were on the lineup.

In October 2023, Kairo’s talent was recognized as she won her first major award. She walked away with the Social Media Kid Influencer of the Year Award at the annual Social Media Awards. Kairo thanked her supportive family and fans for the votes.

Now she has another chance to bag an award, this time an international one. Kairo has been nominated at this year’s Nickelodeon Awards, under the Fav African Kidfluencer. She is battling it out with another local act Biko’s Manna, Nigeria’s Commissioner DJ Wysei, Wizkid’s eldest son Boluwatife Balogun and another Nigerian act Dream Catchers Academy.

Zinhle took to Instagram to gush over her daughter’s nomination. She expressed how proud she is of Kairo in a heartfelt post.

Who’s superstar baby is this? I’m so proud of my baby @kairo.forbes.. Please help me congratulate Kairo on her @nickelodeon_africa nomination.,” Zinhle said.
