Aramex Has A Receptionist Position Available. Aramex invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Receptionist to be based in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering all incoming calls within three rings.
  • Reporting of telephone system faults to the relevant supplier.
  • Printing of daily reports from the telephone management system.
  • Sorting of Company mail to the correct person\department.
  • Compiling the company mailbag.
  • Welcoming and announcing visitors to the correct person.
  • Distribution of messages to the correct person within the performance standard time.
  • Filing of reception documents.
  • Liaising with callers in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner.
  • Updating the extension lists and distribution to all staff.
  • Allocating and programming of persons to extension numbers.
  • CPT Email collections.
  • CPT email pre-alerts.
  • Global cases.
  • Problem deliveries.
  • Checking up on CPT collections every morning (if they were completed).
  • Booking of cash collections.
  • Escalate service failures to CRM.
  • Courtesy calls to customers – Late Freight and /or customer update.
  • Assisting commercial staff with client follow ups/ client queries.
  • Assist Walk in clients / Announce appointments.
  • Manage Bidvest Cleaning team.
  • Administration duties – Cost effective quotation requests from all service providers for all Dept-dependent on requirement
  • Bidvest Facility Management – Liaise with Bidvest and service providers with regards to quotations /Annual/Quarterly services ensured (Pest control /Fire systems /Hygiene etc.)
  • Assist with creating PR`s on Ariba system for Branch and often certain Dept.’s.
  • Grocery /Cleaning stock control and purchasing.
  • Liaise and ensure services rendered by service providers / appointments booked.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2-3 years working experience as receptionist.
  • Minimum requirement is a Matric (Grade 12)
  • Strong communication skills – Excellent command of the English language
