Young Professional-in-Training Opportunity at Transnet Rail Infrastructure in Parktown

Transnet Rail Infrastructure (TRIM) is inviting unemployed South African graduates to apply for its Young Professional-in-Training programme in Parktown. This two-year graduate development initiative aims to equip candidates with institutional knowledge and practical on-the-job training to improve employability. The closing date for applications is 17 November 2025.

Programme Overview

The programme is designed for graduates between 18 and 35 years old, holding a Bachelor’s or BTech degree with a minimum NQF level 6. Candidates should have no prior work experience in their field of study. Over 24 months, participants will rotate through various functional areas within TRIM, receiving mentorship and structured guidance. Progress is assessed every six months to ensure professional growth and alignment with TRIM’s expectations.

Eligibility and Requirements

  • South African citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree or BTech in relevant fields, including LLB.

  • Must be registered with the Department of Higher Education & Training through accredited institutions.
