The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of daily digital business news gathering and production in South Africa.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in business, economic & financial reporting, and reporting on personal finance
• Business insight (e.g. repo rate and inflation etc)
• Experience in utilizing analytics to maximize stories
• Understanding of Google algorithm requirements
• Firm understanding and experience in writing with SEO and Google search in mind
• Valid driver’s license essential for mobility to get to stories

The position is full time office-based at The Citizen’s offices in Industrial West, Johannesburg
