Proverb Dedicates Graduation Achievement to His Parents
A parent’s love is the foundation on which a child’s world is built. Many people are where they are today because of the love and support they get from their parents. This kind of love, like in Proverb’s case, does not matter your age, or how far you are in life.
The seasoned media personality, rapper and author recently leveled up his academics with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Proverb aced his examinations, and has just graduated.
Sharing his graduation pictures on social media, Proverb gave credit to his life, his beloved parents. At the graduation, he held a framed picture of his late mother sharing that he was fulfilling the promise he gave her on her funeral.
“The best #MothersDay gift I could give my late mom, is to keep the promise I made when laid her to rest. To spend the rest of my life trying to make her proud and to become the man she had always hoped I would become,” Proverb said.
Proverb’s proud father tagged along with him to the graduation, and the two snapped a couple of pictures. He thanked his dad for all the support he has given him, and vowed to continue making him proud.
“Every step I’ve taken has been guided by your unwavering support and belief in me. Thank you for empowering me to chase my dreams and for always encouraging me to be true to myself. I am filled with immense gratitude for everything you’ve done.
Here’s to the future, where I hope to continue making you proud and standing tall as the son you’ve raised me to be. Thank you Pa, for everything,” he said.
