Applications Open for the David Tlale Academy Clothing & Textile Skills Development Program. The House of David Tlale, in partnership with the David Tlale Academy, is excited to announce a Skills Development Training Program for young people in and around Johannesburg, aged 18 to 35.
About the Programme
This initiative aims to empower young South Africans by providing valuable industry skills that help combat unemployment, poverty, and crime—while reigniting and growing the clothing and textile sector.
If you are passionate about fashion, clothing, and the textile industry, this program is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience and professional skills!
What You’ll Learn:
- Basic Pattern Making
- Cutting and Garment Assembly (Sewing)
- Finishing, Pressing, and Beadwork
- Basic Business Management and Entrepreneurship Skills
Who Can Apply:
- Ages 18 to 35
- Residing in Gauteng
- Enthusiastic about fashion, clothing, and textiles.
