Shudufhadzo Musida Among Queen Modjadji Cast. Is there anything she can’t do! Shudufhadzo Musida‘s talent is without a doubt the gift that keeps on giving. From pageantry, modeling, writing, TV hosting, motivational speaking to business, she has it all.

The former Miss South Africa is part of the Queen Modjadji stellar cast. Shudu has been cast as Muthanoni Mulalo, one of the king/queen’s wives from the VhaVenda royal family. We can’t wait to see this side of her. Another former Miss SA, Ndavi Nokeri has also bagged a role in the much anticipated drama. Ndavi plays the role of Muthanoni Khensani, another one of the king/queen’s wives from the VaTsonga royal family.

Talented actress, Ngelekanyo Ramulodi, plays young plays the young Queen Modjadji, 14-year-old Maselegwani. Masutang Rasekele, a fresh new face on the screen will play Dzugudini, the daughter of the Rain King and the mother of Queen Modjadji. Dzugudini is a crucial part of the Lovedu history as she is instrumental in saving the kingdom from a catastrophic drought.  Helen Lebepe, who has several acting roles under her belt, will play the role of Raisibe. In the story, Raisibe, assists Modjadji to get a view into the real world of her people and grows to become her confidant.

Film director, producer and actor, plays the Supreme Mambo/king of the Kharanga Kingdom. He is obsessed with becoming the greatest rainmaker and is racing against time to fix his mistakes, restore the balance as required by his ancestors, and end a severe drought. More characters will be revealed as production progresses, leading up to the show’s premiere in July 2024.

The epic story is inspired by the world-famous Balobedu legendary rainmaker, the first Queen Modjadji. Her bloodline has ruled Southern Africa’s Lobedu clan for centuries.
