Izingane zeS’thembu Back for Season II. The Mselekus are definitely a family destined for TV. We first got introduced to them through the highly successful Uthando neS’thembu. The hit reality show is about Musa Mseleku, a successful businessman, and his four wives. They all try to navigate life, polygamous relationships, family dynamics, raising kids, sisterhood and tradition within the modern world.
In between the seasons of Uthando neS’thembu, Musa also went on to bag his own show, Mnakwethu. This is an emotional reality show that gives married men a chance to overcome the fear of introducing polygamy to their current spouses. His wives also scored their own show, Igumbi Lamakhosikazi. The show is a 13-part reality talk show series that gives both women and men a sanctuary. Igumbi Lamakhosikazi also gives the wives a chance to air out issues, to speak freely and share their opinions.
In June 2013, the kids got their own reality show, Izingane zeS’thembu. The show stars Mseleku’s four eldest kids, Mpumelelo, Mpilo, Abongwe, Sne and Lwandle. The first season concentrated more on Mpumelelo and his two baby mamas Vuyokazi Nxiweni and Tirelo Kale. They youngster did not have it easy juggling two pregnant women, who did not see eye to eye most of the time.
Izingane zeS’thembu is back for season II, and fans couldn’t be more excited. Viewers are looking forward to seeing Mpumelelo now as a father of three. Many are also hoping that other children will get more screen time, to tell their stories.
