Brenda has made a great name for herself in the acting industry. The talented Brenda got introduced to many through her portrayal of Lufuno in the Venda drama series Muvhango. Lufuno was one of the worst villains who hated her sister-in-law Thandaza Mokoena (Cindy Dlathu) with passion. Her character was later killed off from the show through a murder storyline. Showing another side of her, Brenda then went on to do some impressive production moves behind-the-scenes on the SABC2 Venda drama.
Besides Muvhango, she has also had some acting roles that some people may not have taken much note of. Brenda was also a director on the successful e.tv drama series Rhythm City. She also landed a job as the Head Creative Director of Uzalo. Currently she is doing her thing on House of Zwide playing Dorothy, the trusted house maid to the Zwide family. For the role Brenda bagged award nominations in the South African Film & Television Awards and South African National Film & TV Awards a year ago.
