Radio Personalities Leaving METRO FM. It’s the reshuffle season, and METRO FM is ahead of most of their peers. The leading radio station has just released their new lineup. METRO is coming though with new presenters, among them Thato Mokoena, and Zola Myeza.

There are also return soldiers in the new interesting lineup. Returning to the station and kicking off the weekday mornings from 05:00 to 06:00 with purpose and inspiration is Rorisang Thandekiso with a show called ‘Command your day’. Luthando “Loot Love” Shosha will co-host the afternoon drive show ‘The Touch Down, alongside Tbo Touch.

Sadly the radio station is also bidding farewell to some of its seasoned presenters. Nothemba Mdumo who hosts the Urban Jazz Experience, will not be returning to the station for their 2024/25 lineup. The show has also been replaced on the 9PM Sunday slot with a new title and presenter. Siya Mhlongo is also leaving, and his show “Command Your Day” will be hosted by Rorisang.

Oskido is also leaving the radio station, after having been with them for a couple of years. The multi-talented producer and musician hosted I Beleive, on Saturdays. SPHEctacula, who has been presenting the Saturday slot called Kings of The Weekend from 19:00 to 22:00, is also leaving. He hosted the show with and his long-time friend and business partner, Lebohang Naves. Naves left the station on 27 January.
