“I Am So Honoured and Grateful for this Opportunity,” Zola Mhlongo On Her METRO FM Gig. METRO FM has just shared their new lineup, and it’s quite interesting. Although it’s sad to see the station letting go of some faves, it is exciting to see new talent being roped in.
Among those is Zola Mhlongo. The talented media personality joins Somizi Mhlongo on the 6:00
to 9:00 slot for the ‘The Weekend Breakfast Sounds Good’ show.

Another newbie, Thato Mokoena is also joining the radio station. The reality show star, media personality and actress will co-host a new show which focuses on music and urban lifestyle. Thato will co-host with Quinton “Naked DJ“ Masina on Saturdays from 18:00 – 21:00.
Returning to the station are Rorisang Thandekiso and Loot Love. Rorisang will host a show called ‘Command your day’, while Loot Love joins the afternoon drive show ‘The Touch Down’, to co-host with Tbo Touch.
METRO FM is also bidding farewell to some of its seasoned presenters. Nothemba Mdumo who hosts the Urban Jazz Experience, will not be returning to the station for their 2024/25 lineup. The show has also been replaced on the 9PM Sunday slot with a new title and presenter. Siya Mhlongo is also leaving, and his show “Command Your Day” will be hosted by Rorisang.
Oskido is also leaving the radio station. The multi-talented producer and musician hosted I Beleive, on Saturdays. SPHEctacula, who has been presenting the Saturday slot called Kings of The Weekend from 19:00 to 22:00, is also leaving.
