Sad Note! DJ Warras Shot Dead. South Africa has lost another talented personality to gang violence. Popular club DJ, and TV presenter DJ Warras real name Warrick Stock has just been shot and killed near Carlton Centre. in Johannesburg. He died at the age of 40 years.
DJ Warras, was involved with a security company, which was apparently doing active with evictions in the Johannesburg CBD today. According to anti-crime activist, Yusuf Abramjee, Warras was found by a witness lying on the pavement in pool of blood. He had four gunshot wounds on his chest and one gunshot wound on the chin. The witness alleges that the deceased was driving in a silver VW Golf 6, which he parked it at corner Von Weiligh. He was approached by three males who fired shots at him, he managed to run and he tried to draw his firearm but did manage to fire any shot. Nothing was taken from him.
Tributes continue to pour in for the former Live AMP presenter, radio host, and outspoken voice on crime and urban decay.
