It’s Confirmed: Kgomotso Christopher Has Joined Scandal!

E.tv publicist Michael Pocock confirmed the news, explaining that the channel is excited to have her as part of the cast. The news comes just one month after Kgomotso shocked fans with news of her exit from SABC 3’s Isidingo. So we say, goodbuy Katlego Sibeko and hello Yvonne Thebe.

Her new character is the gold digging ex-wife of Lucas Nyathi’s major rival Hector Thebe and mom to Naledi and we’ll first see her in late June/early July after Lucas and Hector’s rivalry leads to bloodshed (see the 11 May tvplus Quarterly Preview for details).

It’s understood that Kgomotso started filming for the soapie this past week and has been welcomed with open arms on set.

Taking to Twitter Kgomotso said that she is excited to be a part of the show. “Excited to be working with the talented cast and leading show.”
