Thando Thabethe on the Number of Times She Auditioned for the Role Of Linda Ndlovu. Many people attest that she has been killing the role of Linda Ndlovu all the three seasons. Well, this is because not only Thando Thabethe is a seasoned actress, she is also dedicated to her craft and this always yields great results.
In September 2018, Thando announced that she bagged a lead role in a new drama series, Housekeepers. The talented actress and media personality played the role of Linda, a devoted daughter who goes to extremes in searching for the truth. She had to hide her identity behind an apron, and assumes the role of housekeeper in an attempt to bring the Zwide family to justice after one of her loved ones are framed for murder.
Housekeepers was such a hit with the viewers in season 1, such that it returned for the 2nd and 3rd season. All these seasons, Thando was there killing the role of Linda. Season III has just come to an end, and Thando seized the opportunity to share her journey with the drama series from the first season to date. Showing that things don’t necessarily become easy you are well known, Thando revealed that she had to audition for about six times for the role.
“I remember @portiagumedesa had me audition about 6 times for the role of Linda & I remember walking into that audition room and ultimately to set, unshaken, fearless,” Thando revealed.
The producer of the show, Portia Gumede as well as viewers out there have nothing but praises to sing for Thando as season III wraps up.
