MultiChoice Announces Annual DStv Price Increases. MultiChoice has unveiled the annual DStv price hikes. Prices will increase by between 3.1% and 7.8% across DStv’s satellite pay-TV portfolio. DStv’s streaming-only packages will remain unchanged.
DStv Premium will be R929, the package is up by 5.7% from R879. DStv Compact Plus will now be R619, it has increased up by 6.9% from R579. DStv Compact’s new price is R469, the package is up by 4.5% from R449. On the other hand DStv Family, will go for R329, this is an increase by 3.1% from R319. Upgrades are allowed during the contract, but downgrades require cancellation and fees.
The price hike is set to go into effect on April 1st
