Inside Miss SA Claude Mashego’s First Few Days In India for Miss World Pageant. Our queen left a few days back to compete at the Miss World pageant. Dr Claude Mashego is already making her presence be felt, and we are confident that she is going to do very well.
In October 2023, Claude made history as the first-ever Miss World South Africa. During the competition, she told organizers that she would use her reign to build a network of young leaders and community-builders in South Africa and across Africa through her non-profit organization, the Young Leaders Network.
This was not the first time the beauty queen and medical doctor won a beauty pageant. She became the 11th Queen to be crowned as Miss Mpumalanga in the year 2021. Dr Mashego did a lot during her reign, making her Provence proud. Now the country is hopeful that she is just about to clinch another crown, this time an international one.
On her first day in India, Claude got to meet some of @missworld participants and got to know them better. She also got reunited with her friend, Lesego Chombo, who is representing Botswana. Her third day was exciting, as she took a trip down history lane at the Rajghat Gandhi Memorial and the Mahatma Gandhi Museum.
