Pics: Inside Rasta the Artist and His Partner’s Epic Mauritius Vacation. As the saying goes, ‘all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.‘ As much as being a hard worker is commendable, one needs to take a break here and there just to recuperate and enjoy life while at it.
One person who definitely works hard in these streets is Rasta the Artist. Born Lebani Serinje, the artist is well known for painting very well known celebrities. Most of the celebrities that Rasta paints, are those that recently passed away. He pitches up at their memorial services to show off the portraits he did as a tribute to them.
The only thing though is that so many people out there are not happy with how Rasta portrays the celebs that he paints. They feel he doesn’t have talent, and never gets the features of his subjects correctly. Nonetheless, no matter how many people tell him to stop, Rasta is always determined to pay tribute to some of the world’s most influential figures, by painting portraits of them.
Because of his paintings he is quite a celebrity and often trends on social media. Like a true celeb, Rasta recently embarked on a vacation to Mauritius accompanied by a lady partner. It is not clear of the lady is his wife, but one thing for sure, fun was had. Rasta shared pictures of the two having a time of their life at a beach.
One can only hope that the famous artist drew inspiration from this epic vacation, and will come back bigger and better.
