Trevor Noah Bags An Emmy for Outstanding Talk Series
Trevor Noah Bags An Emmy for Outstanding Talk Series. We have lost count on the number of times Trevor Noah has made us proud. The international acclaimed star has bagged numerous awards, hosted major award ceremonies in the US, toured the world among countless accomplishments.
Monday evening he once again bagged a major award. The Daily Show with Trevor Noah won a Primetime Emmy for outstanding talk series at the 75th Emmy Awards. This was The Daily Show with Trevor Noah’s first win in that category. Another cool record that Trevor made was him the first host of color to win in this category. The Daily Show is only the second show to win in this category (or predecessor categories) with two different hosts.
The Emmy Awards were held at the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles. The awards were to have taken place in September, but were delayed because of strikes by Hollywood writers and actors.
After the win congratulatory messages poured in. Among those who tweeted include The Daily Show, South African Government, Trevor’s close friends, fans as well as well wishers across the world.
