Sana Mchunu Begins the Year With A Cool Acting Award. What a way to start 2024! Continuing with her winning streak, Sana Mchunu has just bagged yet another award for her incredible acting.
Briefly News has launched the Entertainment Awards 2023 to recognize and award the most brilliant South African entertainers. One of the categories many looked forward to was the Actress of the Year category. It appreciates the efforts of female movie stars whose performances in movies and series through the year made the biggest impressions on fans.
The winner in the category is none other than Sannah ‘Sana’ Mchunu, a stalwart in the South African acting industry. The multi-award winning actress is best known for roles in television series such as eKasi: Our Stories, Muvhango and The River. In 2020, Sana appeared in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Gomora as Zodwa, where her role received critical acclaim.
In response to her win Sana said, “Sana where did you study acting? Mina: e University of LIFEš„°.”
A number of personalities who owned 2023, also walked away with awards. Among those is Khosi Twala, who was crowned Most Fashionable Celebrity accolade. The Actor of the YearĀ award went to Wiseman Mncube. The Best New Artist of the Year award went to Tyla Laura Seethal. Another singer Naledi Aphiwe MyongwaneĀ got the Top Influencer of the Year. Rapper Nasty C, was announced the Hip Hop Artist of the Year.
