OFM (Radio) has an opportunity for a seasoned multimedia journalist with at least three years’ relevant experience to join our newsroom in Bloemfontein.
If you have a passion for news, a creative edge, and the ability to captivate audiences through diverse channels, we want you to be the voice behind the stories that matter!
- As a multimedia journalist, you will be responsible for sourcing information on a wide variety of hard news, as well as industry and lifestyle related topics, and producing content in various formats for digital and broadcast platforms.
- To be successful in this position you need to be conversant in both Afrikaans and English, skilled in writing, sound editing, photography, videography, and delivering voiceovers.
- You should also be in possession of a valid driver’s licence. A good general knowledge, with in-depth focus on the Central region – Free State, Northern Cape, North West and Southern Gauteng, as well as an extensive network of contacts will be advantageous.
- Being able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and a team player will also guarantee you a great career in this versatile team.
