Cici Begins the Year With A Cool Award. Talk about starting off the year on a positive note. Cici is among our local stars who have already bagged awards in the year 2024. She joins the likes of Sana Mcgunu, Naledi Aphiwe, Khosi Twala, Tyla and many others who are owning 2024 already.
Joining the list is none other than Cici, real name Busisiwe Thwala. The award winning musician and actress has just walked away with the SHINE BRIGHT award from the Music on the Hill Awards.

The Music on the Hill Awards were established in 2022 by Awarded-Music promoter and Author Innocent Shezi. The Annual MOTHAs seeks to be the highest industry accolade in the South African music industry to celebrate & honor excellence. The 1st Annual Music on the Hill Awards will be a great celebration of local talent and those emerging in different genres such as House, Afro Pop, Jazz, Dance and Gospel music. For these inaugural awards there are over twenty nominees across a variety of categories.
The Music on the Hill Awards, will be hosted at Joburg Theatre on 13 January.
