This exactly the situation with Nandi Madida, who recently got to interview her husband, Zakes Bantwini.
In May this year, Nandi was announced as the new host of Apple Music’s Africa Now Radio. The award winning musician and media personality took over the reigns from industry colleague Loot Love, who has hosted since 2021. Loot Love took the reins from Nigerian muso DJ Cuppy, who hosted the show since its inception in 2020.
So far Nandi has set down with the likes of Mr Eazi, Nasty C, Burna Boy, Nkosazana Daughter among others. As expected, she has slayed each and every one of her interviews and was great with her guests. To wrap the year up in style, Nandi had her Grammy award winning husband, Zakes as a guest. The interview was conducted at the couple’s home, now how cool can it get! Both Nandi and Zakes couldn’t help but gush over the moment.
