The Modiselle Sisters Back as Feather Awards SA Hosts. The fact that they are returning as hosts, meas that they did a great job on their last hosting gig. The Feather Awards have just announced Bontle and Refilwe Modiselle as their hosts for this year’s edition.
The Feather Awards are one of the most popular award ceremonies in our entertainment calendar. These awards celebrate all who support, inspire and empower the LGBTI Community. A month ago, the nominees for the 15th annual Feather Awards were announced at a beautiful event graced by stars such as Thandiswa Mazwai, Tamara Dey, Yaya Mavundla, and Buhle Mda. The event was hosted by Refilwe Modiselle, who did a stellar job.
Well, Refilwe has also been announced as the host of the award ceremony, together with her sister Bontle. A year ago, the two, together with their younger sister Candice held it down as hosts. They did such a stellar job at the glamorous event which took place at the Market Theatre with the theme of “being unfvcken apologetic”. Now Bontle and Refilwe are back again, and everyone can’t wait to see them do their magic. This year’s theme is ‘Solve For X’.
Refilwe and Bontle will be joined by another talent, Andiswa P Gebashe. The Sign Language activist will definitely bring something different and cool on the stage, as she caters for the deaf.
