Thato Mokoena Celebrates Bagging Her First Ever Award. It has been a long time coming. Finally Thato Immaculate Mokoena has bagged herself an award for all the hard work she has been putting in all these years.
Since her exit from Big Brother Mzansi season III, Thato hit the ground running. She put herself out there, every chance she got. Her zeal paid off, and immediately she bagged a presenting gig on Home Ground) show. Thato has also tapped into music, hosted major events, bagged ambassadorship gigs, grown as a YouTube content creator and tapped into entrepreneurship. She is also an actress of note, having bagged roles in major shows like The River, Magaeng and recently, Entangled.
Although she has ventured into a number of fields in the entertainment industry, one of her biggest loves is being a content creator. Thato has been one, even before the Big Brother Mzansi fame. She has been at it for two years, and now there is an award to show for it. This weekend Thato won the Best Social Media Content Creator at the 2023 Eminent Video Music Awards. This is a special one, as it is Thato’s first ever award.

This is not the first time Thato bagged such a nomination. Back in June she was nominated for Social Media Influencer of the Year, in the 2023 Basadi in Music Awards. Thato battled it out with Pamela Mtanga, Nelisiwe Sibiya, Tshidi Kekana Manganye and Mandz Not Hot. The closely contested award went to Tshidi Kekana Manganye.
