International Star Stevel Marc Makes His Debut on Scandal!. One thing about Scandal!, the casting is just perfect. Each actor slays the role they are playing effortlessly. Their latest addition has viewers all excited.
Jamaican born model and actor, Stevel Marc has just joined the cast. He will play the role of Sanka Myrie. One cool factor about this character, is that it’s going to allow Marc to act and speak in English while mixing with his mother tongue of Jamaican Patois. Sanka is also said to be an irresistible charmer, who is going to make women go all crazy. He is going to cause some turmoil in Tlhogi and Madala’s wedding. Is he going to topple Madala? We remain to see.
He is making his much anticipated debut tonight, Tuesday 7th November.
“Speaking of his new acting gig, he said, “I am thrilled to be joining South Africa’s number-one soapie, Scandal! I’ve followed it over the years, so being a part of it now is euphoric. The experience has been fantastic for me thus far – a welcoming cast and crew who put the show first. My character, Sanka, is a joy to play. I use my authentic Patois (Jamaican dialect) and accent to bring him to life, and I can’t wait for South Africa to meet him – from Tuesday, 7th November.“
Marc is a renowned model based in South Africa but originally from Portland in Jamaica. He also does some acting and a lot of MC work. His first feature film role was in the internationally acclaimed Of Good Report, followed by other prolific productions such as The Mauritanian, Happiness Is a Four-letter Word and Black Sails.
