The talented actress’ partner went all out and pulled out one of the beautiful proposals ever. Judging from the pictures she shared on social media Buntu was taken to a beautiful location, where the surprise awaited her. As soon as the door to a beautifully decorated home, Buntu was met by the words, ‘MARRY ME’. On the floor were flower petals, with pictures of the couple hanging on the ceiling and some scattered on the floor. Her man went down on one knee, and the elated Buntu said.”YES.”
Buntu received many congratulatory messages from her colleagues in the industry as well as her fans and followers. The likes of Candice Modiselle, Lunag Shabalala, Mpho Sebeng and Zola Nombona wished the couple all the best.
Buntu first gained her TV experience as a presenter on the SABC1 science and tech show Teenagers on a Mission (TOMZ). She then landed her first acting role on one of South Africa’s popular daily soaps, Generations: The Legacy, where she he plays the character, Nonhle. The character grew from being a high school learner, to now being a trainee journalist.
Buntu recently bagged one of her biggest roles yet, in Netflix series, Miseducation. She plays the character of Mbali Hadebe, a university student. The storyline follows university students, and takes us into the SRC politics and love relationships between students. So far Miseducation is a favorite, and the cast are forever receiving their flowers.
