Court Rules In Favor of Denise Zimba’s Estranged Husband As He Wins Custody of the Kids. Over the past couple of months, Denise Zimba has been opening up about her failed marriage. It is alleged that she left the marriage due to infidelity and Jakob Schlichtig’s neglect of his familial responsibilities. There is also an incident where Denise allegedly found him engaged in inappropriate behavior while texting another woman, despite their child being in the same room.
At the beginning of the year, Denise revealed on X, the heart-wrenching betrayal she faced when she discovered that Schlichtig, was allegedly having an affair with her childhood friend, Mpumi Mdluli.
“Nothing worse than finding out your best friend since you were 14 years old has been having an affair with your husband, and that’s why she always ghosted you when you were pregnant and never celebrated you – birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers,” she wrote.
In recent months, it seemed like the media personality and actress was recovering from all the drama. She returned back to Generations: The Legacy, bagged an ambassadorship gig as well as a hosting gig. Denise also posted heartwarming content with her adorable girls, having a great time.
Sadly, her world has come crumbling down as Johannesburg High Court has rule in favor of Schlichtig. This is according to Women For Change X post. The ruling allows allows for him to take their daughters, aged 19 months and 5 years, back to Germany, separating them from Denise, who is their primary caregiver. The court filed documents and claimed that the girls would be distressed without their father, according to the post.
This has clearly not sat well with the masses, and they are feeling for Denise.
