1. Kagiso Latane is an all rounder in the industry, with a number of projects under his name.

2. In 2014 he obtained an NQ5in Digital Filmmaking from the Big Fish School of Filmmaking. Kagiso also has a Degree in International Relations obtained from the University of South Africa.

3. In 2015, Kagiso was appointed as a freelance Transmission Controller, at Supersport. Before then he worked at TSHWANE TV as a Camera Operator/Video Editor.

4. Kagiso was part of the U Can Do It, a South African reality competition television series produced by Roadshow Marketing. On the show 25 finalists lived together in an “academy”, where they learn various tricks of the music industry from established musicians and compete to become a member of a group that earns a record deal and R150,000. He made it into Top 100, and eventually Top 26.

5. In 2020, his film, Quarantine Diaries for the first ever Online Youth Film Festival. Among the more than 100 submissions, Kagiso scooped position three.

6. Kagiso also bagged a role on Isifiso season II, a drama about a woman living under her younger sister’s shadow, envying her seemingly-perfect life. Interestingly enough the character he played was also called Kagiso.

7. In Lavish Season I, he played Kopano, and in Season III of The wife, Kagiso played Tlhabane. Currently he plays detective Lefatse in Muvhango.

8. Kagiso owns Canvus Productions, a film and television production company offering full-service video production company based in Gauteng, South Africa specializing in innovative afrocentric content.

9. Through the company, he edited local film, One Night Kwa Mxolisi.
