Levels! Black Coffee Gives A Lecture At Harvard University. What a moment! On top of performing in some of the biggest world stages, Black Coffee now get to give a lecture at one of the biggest universities in the world.
A few weeks back, Black Coffee made history, as he realized one of his biggest dreams. The Grammy Award winning DJ headlined the Madison Garden Square all the way in New York, filling up the venue while at it. He became the first ever South African to do so. This was a dream come true for Coffee, a career bucket list sort of achievement.
Since he is all influential, Coffee got invited to give a lecture at the prestigious Harvard University. He was lecturing alongside Harvard Business School professor, expert on the business of entertainment, media and sports and author, Anita Elberse. Coffee regards the whole experience as humbling. We can’t wait to see what he do next, as she continues to put South Africa on the map.
“So yesterday before my dj-ing gig I gave a lecture at @HarvardUniv with Prof @anitaelberse What a humbling experience,” Coffee said.
This is not the first celebrity to be invited to lecture at a major university. Lekau Sehoana recently got invited by the University of Johannesburg as a guest lecturer for the final year students doing marketing. Speaking about the opportunity, the DRIP CEO and founder said it was the biggest moment of his life. Lekau was also, humbled to hear that his story is part of their exams. He said the crazily inspiring news are a fuel to keep him going.
