Kairo Forbes Wins Social Media Kid Influencer of the Year Award. She may have lost her dad this year, but a number of wins have also come her way. Kairo Forbes is definitely destined for stardom, and every moment she gets, she shows off her capabilities.
About a month ago, the child star and entrepreneur, performed in front of thousands of people at the Galaxy 947 Joburg Day. The event, organized by 947 and Samsung and hosted at Crocodile Creek, was all about celebrating South Africa’s biggest artists. The likes of DJ Zinhle, DJ Maphorisa, Prince Kaybee, Mi Casa, Mafikizolo, KO and Shekhinah were in the lineup.
The late rapper AKA was well represented as the Mega Band celebrated him through song. Among those who performed with the band were Nadia Nakai, Yanga Chief, Kuli Chana, DA L.E.S and Thato Saul. Kairo also got to perform some of daddy’s songs with the band, and it was just beautiful to witness.
At the beginning of October Kairo received the Global Visionary Award on behalf of her father. The award was to honor AKA for his global impact on the hip-hop landscape.
Just a few weeks later, Kairo bags her very own award. She won the Social Media Kid Influencer of the Year Award at the recent Social Media Awards.
