“I Pray this Storyline Served As A Mirror to Expose the Dangers of Being With Narcissist,” Winnie Ntshaba. It has been tense there by House of Zwide with a hectic storyline. Over the past couple of weeks, the drama series touched on the harrowing results of being in love with narcissist.
Zola played by Katleho Sinivasan came into the scene as Zanele’s boyfriend, a character played by Londeka Mchunu. Zola started off as the ultimate dream boyfriend, charming Zanele with all the romantic tactics. He was attentive, loving, and was easy on the eye. Out of nowhere, he started showing some red flags. Zola would snap, be possessive and doubt Zanele’s love for him among other things.
Things took a turn for the worst when coerced Zanele to change her style of dressing. He also made her quit her job, and distanced her from her family, Despite all the evident red flags, Zanele stayed. Even when her family and friends noticed she could be in a very abusive relationship, she still stayed. The last straw was when the abuse became physical, that is when Zanele decided, enough was enough. She upped and left.
Zola though managed to convince hr to come back for her things and say a proper goodbye. Zanele fell into the bait, and she found herself trapped win a house with a psycho. Zola was about to burn himself and Zanele when Faith Zwide stepped in, in time to save her daughter.
Faith is played by Winnie Ntshaba, and just like many viewers, the storyline touched her.It was just too real. The sad part is that, this is a reality for many South African women. They are in toxic relationships, and some have even lost their lives. Winnie hopes what happened in House of Zwide can wake those in relationships with narcs wake up. She also applauded Kat and Londeka for a job well done.
