Successful DJ and Entrepreneur Dj Zinhle Reveals Her Secrets To Success

Not long after she gave birth to her first baby Kairo Owethu Forbes,  in less than three weeks ,  DJ Zinhle was already back at work being the successful entrepreneur she is. The hard-working 31-year-old is known for her entrepreneurial skills. She’s not only a DJ, but also started a music school for young girls as well as ERA, a line of accessories. Dj Zinhle says she wants to inspire women to be great, independent and successful.

Since DJ Zinhle’s success as one of the biggest house DJs in South Africa, she has used everything she’s learned in the industry to continue expanding and adding to her career. She’s started a music school for young girls, as well as ERA, a line of accessories and, most recently, launched her website Moments by Dj Zinhle.

Planning

“I am a planner, so I like laying out my work items, making sure I have everything I need: my laptop, phone, calculator, journal and ruler. If any of these items are missing, I cannot function properly.”

Business trick

Research and planning. Set goals, have a plan, collect information and do not allow other people’s plans to derail you from yours.

Tasks

I love finishing tasks. I keep a daily to-do list and ticking off things gives me joy. I really try to avoid procrastination as much as I can.

The power of knowledge

I read a lot of books, I do my research and I ask questions. Education is very important; the internet is a great place to find answers and I use it a lot.
