In Paris she got to grace the Paris Fashion Week ramp, showing off her talents as a model. Among the stars who modeled alongside her are Thuso Mbedu, Viola Davis, Kendall Jenner, Helen Mirren, Elle Fanning, Camila Cabello, and Eva Longoria.
In November 2020, the celebrated media personality, model and entrepreneur announced her partnership with award winning international shoe brand, Steve Madden. Dubbed the Steve Madden Bonang Matheba Holiday Select Collection, under it Bonang release six footwear and two handbag styles that she believes encompassed South Africa’s December season.
Well, she is at it again, working on another collection. Announcing her interesting gig, Bonang stated that she is shooting her collection with Steve Madden once again. As fans congratulated her, one shared that due to cons they can’t rock heels. Bonang assured her that she has made some really cute slides too. What a considerate queen!

Bonang’s partnership with Steve Madden teaches us the power of chasing after our dreams. After her documentary in New York titled ‘A Very Bonang Year’, where she documented her time in America, Bonang met a shoe designer and the dream was ignited. Together with that designer and her team, they put together ideas of how they will curate this amazing shoe collection together. Unfortunately, the Covid -19 pandemic forced that process to halt.
