Merchandise Development Programme Graduate Trainee – Planner

The Planner function focuses on the analyses customer activity, forecasts sales, controls purchases and formulates budgets. A successful Planner has an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to problem solving, a strong entrepreneurial flair and loves working with numbers; an eye for detail, exceptional organisational skills coupled with a strong interest in fashion retail would make you an ideal candidate.

To truly add value to this role and programme you will need a completed degree in Retail Management for Planning / Bachelor’s Degree in Economics; Business Economics; Accounting; Finance; Stats; Maths; Supply Chain Mgt; Business Mgt; Procurement for Planning & Sourcing together with a phenomenal ‘can do” attitude!

Merchandise Development Programme Graduate Trainee – Buyer

The Buyer function is responsible for developing product buying strategies – apparel, footwear, jewellery, accessories or homeware. Buyers inform the business as to when and what to buy, where to buy product and why. A successful Buyer has the ability to spot trends, strong negotiation skills, exceptional organisational skills coupled with a keen interest in fashion retail.

To truly add value to this role and programme you will need a completed degree in ND / Degree in Fashion / Clothing / Textile & Garment Construction or Retail Management for Buying together with a phenomenal ‘can do’ attitude!
