“This One Caught Me Off Guard,” Ntando Duma on Her Show Getting A SAFTA Nomination

“This One Caught Me Off Guard,” Ntando Duma on Her Show Getting A SAFTA Nomination. It is all excitement on social media as nominees gush over their nods. The South African Film and Television Awards organizers have dropped the names of talents, as well as shows that are up for nomination for their 17th award edition.

Making its first entry to the SAFTAs nomination list is Dance Yo Dumo. This is a dance reality competition in which three celebrity mentors battle to form the baddest dance crew. Contestants are presented with themes each week and are expected to put together tailored choreography to tell the ultimate Mzansi dance story. Their tools are creativity and SA’s most ambitious wannabe dance stars. Standing in their way: limited time and the judges.

The dance mentors are Chad Jones, Hope Ramafalo, and Justin De Nobrega. The resident judges are Bontle Modiselle and the late Costa Titch. Guest judges make weekly appearances.

Dance Yo Dumo is hosted by none other than Ntando Duma. The media personality, actress and entrepreneur is quite excited over the show’s SAFTA nod. Ntando expressed her gratitude on a heartfelt Instagram post. She also acknowledged the fans, Urban Brew studios and the whole team.
