Relebogile Mabotja Celebrates 20 Years In the Industry. Relebogile Mabotja’s journey in the entertainment industry is a testament to the power of talent, hard work, and determination. She is now a renowned actress, presenter, and producer.
As an actress, Lebo has been cast on a number of hit shows. Among the include, Home Affairs, Zone 14, Generations, Skeem Saam, Rhythm City, Isidingo, Kompleks as well as a German Film called Traum Hotel.
As a TV presenter, Lebo worked on the e.tv show Gospel Grooves. Towards the end of 2004 she presented a show on e.tv called BackChaton CrazE. She also narrated SABC 2’s Christmas special, The 12 Days of Christmas. Between 2010 and 2011 she hosted Season 1 and 2 of the SABC1 reality competition show, Dance Your Butt Off.
Lebo is also a talented radio host. In 2013 she went onto host Overnight Live and the Early Breakfast Show on Talk Radio 702 and 567 Cape Talk. In 2019, she was appointed as news reader and co-host of Metro FM’s afternoon drive show The Kings Suite after having served as co-host and anchor for the Breakfast Show. In August 2019, Lebo was named ambassador for Discovery “Real Time”, channel 155 on DSTV.
She has also done theatre, and in late 2004, Lebo got the opportunity to perform in an Afrikaans musical, Imbuba/Samesyn. In the late 2000s, Lebo played the role of “Pinky the Shebeen Queen” in the Soweto Story musical which was held at the Joburg Theatre in Gauteng.
She also does voice overs, and is the voice behind the theme songs for Africa Magic, Africa Magic Plus for DStv and the LOTTO theme song “One day is one day”. In 2019 Lebo was appointed as musical director of Nigeria’s The Winner.
Lebo also writes columns and articles for some local magazine. She is also an emcee with events like FIFA Fan Park, the National Teacher’s Awards, and the opening and closing ceremonies of the World Choir Games under her belt.

It has been a crazy wild ride and one I never thought I would still be on at this level. Too many memories to share and people to thank for me to be where I am.
I will be taking all the time needed to celebrate,” she said about her impressive milestone.
